What is parts availability like for the standard box?

No. you don't need that.

It was a conversation we were having elsewhere, the intergrale, lancer evo and subaru also audi changed the 4wd split to prevent understeer...so in some ways 60% power to the rear is more beneficial for most uses....if you can live with oversteer.
