imported in 2006, did 10K miles ,now reads about 50-60K miles. Been garaged for last 4 years (due to lack of funds, petrol etc)
Insurance started again today!
started after about 6 turns, but ran out of fuel after about 3 mins. Got can and fuel, started again straight away.
Brakes not stuck etc.
Felt real low and harsh ride, lol
still smells of Japan like when i first imported it?!?
Underside still mint after the waxoil blasts i gave it over the years
Cant believe shes back, was more emotional than i thought.
Not given it boost yet, but cant wait will be working on it over xmas for sure

remember it being stupid fast and look forward to getting from A-B in short time again:-D

Jap cars do have a distinctive smell about them I think it must be the cheap& flimsy plastics.. Also the rotting coins that all seem to have under the back seats from the bumpy suspension lol, miss my pulsar already.

took it out today for 1.2 bar run. (With 3" elbow and 2.5" exhaust, trust me makes the difference at 1.2 bar, far more agressive climbing high in revs)
back lanes slightly icy looking, but fuck me the power! After driving a 1.8 diesel focus for 4 years. And the noise (Fuijitsubo cat back) not stupid loud, more like jet engine
almost too fast, but sure its the icy roads and in summer ill be looking for Z32, Nistune, Injectors and remap
white smoke, thought valve stems gone after sitting for so long, but cleared up when proper up to temp, must have been the cold weather, and the sitting

Same here  didn't really touch mine last year but will hopefully have it back on the road soon. Off to the Autosport show later this week too which usually gives me a bit of extra inspiration to get on with it.

Well done, another R in the NW nearly back on the road. I wish my head wasn't taking so long.
