Has anyone renewed their GTIR with classic car insurance in the past month or so?

Mine has just run out and i cant seem to find any company who will cover the GTIR again? Have rung up a few of them now.

I was with Footman James and they wont renew the policy, tried Peter James, Norton, Adrian Flux etc

Anyone got any else that will definitely cover it?

Most I tried say they wont touch it on a classic policy, when asked as to why they have no reason and just ended up With A-plan limited Mileage for £550 which I felt is not bad on a 1 Bar Mong Model ;)

Might be because its a Japanese import? Or the insurers have been on the forums and looked to see what some people have posted about not confessing to modifications from standard by trying to use loop holes, if its a risk they will stop covering the cars, with all mods declared my insurance is bloody expensive and restricted milage, must be garaged after 10pm etc etc.

Its a UK sunny and all mods were 100% declared last year, the car only did 670 miles over the last year as well which is a hundred more than the year before lol

However most places are simply saying no as soon as you say GTIR to them.

Come on bro are you still fiddling with pulsars?

Thought you must've moved on by now.
