Looking to buy this R.. Advice please.

Thinking about it, my dad probably had some influence as he was always tinkering about with cars.He even airbrushed his white Vauxhall Viva estate with maroon vinyl roof.It had a castle on it reflected in the moat.I bet the 80's totty were frothing at the gash when he cruised by.

Fond memories of being stuck in the back of a Gold rover SD1 (v8, 3.5 lt), a dogsh1t brown granada and various capris, saab 900 turbo, montego mg turbo. I see now why I a) cant keep a car for long, and b) they mostly all fit in a certain genre!

Ah yeS ... the good old days before H&S ruined everything & helped to bankrupt the west & make living life as dull as a politician ... Would agree on Pulsar being quite practical, hatchbacks are about as practical as you can get, would assume the one I linked in eBay has an issue hence sale after 9months but as not many for sale u need to chase up anything that looks possible & investigate well & if you don't know much about cars get help (good help as a bad buy will ruin your pulsar dream) ...

Personally I don't think 3 doors are practical for when you have young kids.Especially when they are really young and can't get in and out themselves, it's a right ballache putting seats in and out and doing up belts.I used to have a clio 172 and it was only when I switched to a 5 door saloon i realised how much better it was for a family car.
The clio is about the same size as a sunny and I could get a pushchair in the boot but that was about it.If I went shopping it had to go on the backseats and floor.With my Laguna I can fit a 3 week shop in the boot with room to spare and no more messing about sliding seats to get to the back.

I'd take a 5door hatch over a saloon any day for maximum practicality & 3 door hatch second then saloon. Sure a 4 door saloon can seem more practical when dealing with human cargo but as soon as dealing with stuff that doesn't sit in a seat the saloon becomes a big car that you can't get a lot in. I'm basing that on my Evo5 which is useless for anything but people really, my old n13 5 door hatch nissan sunny= super practical & turns into a small van with rear seats colapsed & my GTIR that is flexible but if dealing with 3 or more passengers a lot could be tiresome for some ...At the end of the day for a 4wd performance car it is pretty bloody practical in daily life use & fits in narrow or short parking spaces very easily,my pulsar is regular for Tesos shopping & central city commutes & gets you there quickly with a smile on your face & first free parking spot you see it fits in

Yes I meant hatchback, it's a laguna.Mong moment.The main thing is it's 5 door.Oh and the best bit is when you have a child seat in you can park near the door of the supermarket in a child and parent space.

the car could have been the one in the thread i started as it had an f1 clutch.a quick look at google and about 70% seem to think its a crap clutch but saying that so is the helix.i know a few will now come on and say the opposite about the helix,its a waste of iron in my opinion

it might have big brakes and a fmic but its also got nasty ass bling bling wheels and an ebay fpr.

you need to go and look at it. NEVER buy a car off ebay without looking at it

that car is also on autotrader for £4500 or something like that
