After nearly 10 years of owning my Sunny..........

I've decided after my latest gearbox failure I've had enough

I'm on my 5th or 6th gearbox now and after just having to do an engine rebuild too its getting too much and I just want something fairly quick and reliable. Looks like it might have to be an Evo

Just need to decide now whether to put my car back to standard and sell all the good bits or just sell it as it is? Really didn't want to give up on it but there comes a time when you get fed up with spending more time fixing a car than driving it

Thats a shame mate, im sure you will regret it at some point, then i suppose you could always come back later in life, like many do when they discover the grass isnt always greener on the otherside, so to speak  Good luck with whatever you decide to do.

We all know what you mean mate cause most of us have been there lol

In my honest opinion, If you are really down and out about it then put her away for a month or three and just put it out of your mind for a whole and then see how you feel, I always go running back lol

Performance wise you can rarely beat these cars when running high power, but beating a 70k Porsche in a few K worth of pulsar...... Tis worth the odd gearbox change lol

I wouldn't get rid 'just' yet...... Just get rid of it from your mind for a while...

I thought more people would have sussed it out straight away knowing what day it was ;-)

And thanks to all the people that gave me abuse, told me not to be such a fucking homo cock etc Thats exactly what i would have wanted to hear (and deserved) if i was planning on selling it for an Evo

As if i'd let a little gearbox issue get in my way, i've got far too much patience and a never give in attitude to allow that to happen! I can't honestly see myself getting rid of it for years yet as i'm still going to keep racing it and hopefully keep developing it into a class winning car 8)
