Hi all,

Have joined (just awaiting member pack) and already in talks with pulsarbob re my GTiR requirements .

Unfortunately i had a few clearout last year and gave away some of my jap/banzai mags.

Now i only have left :-

GTIR buyers guide (JP)
Article on Adrian Cash Black GTiR (jp)
Article on GTiR from Jersey (jp)
Article on Father & Son`s GTiRs ( j tuner)
Article on Blue GTIR (JP)
Group thrash (banzai )

( can advise issue no if required )

+ the usuall info ive found of the interweb ;-)


However, can any suggest any other good reads on GTiR`s ??


( ive tried to get copy of the December 92 Autocar handling test from the interweb but no joy ;-( )

Recently(ish) there was Danny in Total Nissan.
The penultimate copy of Japanese Performance had an interview with Stu in it.
There was one in Banzai about... two years ago I'd guess.
The N/W rolling road day was in Total Nissan about 18 months ago.

If my wife hasn't thrown them out, I might be able to get the issue numbers.

Thanks for the info guys, unfiortunatly works firewall is blocking the downloads on the link, will have to try on my niknak zx81 at home.

HAs anyone actually been able to locate the best motoring video of the GTiR ?
ive seen the one where a stock GTIR Vs stock GTR on track

Georges dad, thanks for the offer, perhaps we could hook up at the next meet ?

I think i have all the best motoring videos that feature the GTi-R. I'll look into converting them into some digital format and upload them

Yeah that's an idea. If you can still get the Nissan Banzai Special Mag book that's got several GTI-R's in it, you may still be able to get that from the publishers,and a GTI-R shootout too.

I can do PM me next time there's one on and I'll pop along. Ain't got a GTI-R at the mo only a Toyota Corolla T sport so don't mock me lol

I wont be laughin mate, i prob be in a Fiat Punto 1.1s ! Think theres one 16.11.11, advert on modders forum i think .

The white SE Nissan GTIR with the turini front bumper and gold racelines featured in Revs mag about 10 years ago was the best looking R in the world.....and the owner pictured in the mag was so handsome.....

After a bit more research, am I right in thinking there are GTiR`s in Total Nissan issues ; 5,11,15,16,18 ?
