Fuel Filters, Genuine or Pattern?

I think I paid ~£10 for mine (not from Nissan). - Nissan have to have a supplier too, so I'd suggest if you've heard of the brand (like UFI) it will meet OEM quality.

I'm not sure what the "upgrade" filter would be, or if there is one; the GTi-R already has a filter that's bigger than the Silvia, and might be the same as the Skyline. - Seems to me that there's plenty of headroom in that.

Cheers, I guess a blueprint part would be fine.

Any suggestions of where to order one from to make sure I get the right part the first time around?

i got one from importcarparts, but the out nozzle was bent past 90 degrees. ran it for a little while. then thought sod it, and bought a nissan one just for peace of mind.
alibaba.com is a good place to find oem parts suppliers

I also paid around £10 from Nissan

I ended up getting a replacement from the local import car parts place, and fitted it last night.

Getting the rubber hoses off was a bit of a ball ache, got the top off after some faffing then spent a while on the bottom hose. In the end I pushed it through the bottom of the bay into the pax wheel arch to get more access.

I still have a hesitation, I suspect it's the fuel pump.
