Hi Guys / Gals.

Thought I'd share this with you.

The car is a Nissan Sunny sedan..........(Greece's 1.6 AWD Sunny Sedan) with an GTIr conversion.

The car is a real beast since it split the gearbox casing into pieces after the PPG dogbox, the 5'th gear braced, and the bearing changed from conical bearings to normal ball bearings.

The last run of this beast was 11.3 s on the 1/4 mile but the geacase exploded at 250 meters of the run and the car ran on low boost.

Thats an awesome build mate :). Have a word with red reading about a billet gear casing, he might be able to help you solve your problem.

thats a well put together car i like it alot, did it not have any bracing done to the case at all? seems crazy the amount of work gone into the car including the straight cut gears yet not a sniff of any gearcase strengthening? Whats his plans to stop this from happeneing again?

It had a brace like "str" made on the other forum......................didnt have the other things needed, someone was telling me the car is ment to be 1000-1200bhp so i doubt unless you do alot more serious work the case would ever hold together

I spoke again with this guy and he told me that he spoke with somebody who can make him acast iron gear case..............will see hows things going with this....
