It's not as though we haven't been banging on about this for a while, or that there wasn't plenty of opportunity to see us on the track because we went round a few times.

I think they might be stretched a bit thin staff wise, and they rely on a lot of reader submitted content; so if you write an article and send them some photos, you can have them in the magazine.

I didn't see Banzai all day, but I did see people carrying their bags around... probably a good thing because I was going to give them an earful about saying the cars were dying-out and not taking any notice of such a big display in their own sponsored event. :der:
Maybe I should let go of that... they did publish my letter saying that we hadn't gone anywhere, but I didn't anyone else even close to us in terms of representation on the day. - As far as I'm concerned it should have been the "Nissan GTi-R 20th Anniversary show, and round xx of the BDC at Silverstone - Other clubs and exhibitors welcome."

If we give them our photos of the day im sure they will still do a good feature, will be good for both clubs and all involved. I personally didnt see any Banzai photgraphers, but to be honest i wasnt really looking for them

In hindsight it would have been nice to have had someone in the stands taking videos of the laps we did, to be fair though im just glad a reasonable amount turned up for the event, hearrt warming to see

Banzai were lurking around the stand. Not sure if he took any photos but did leave a card.

Fly from Max Power was also there, and took a few piccies.

Now what would have been smart would have been for them to inteview someone like Jon...

EDIT: Too slow by the look of it! - Do you want originals of any of the photos?

Can't believe I had to miss this, it looks awesome... gutted. :(

IMHO the GTiR should be celebrated every year! :) Its popularity isn't dying out, if anything the car is becoming more iconic as every year passes. I think its great that the GTiROC is still going strong and if anything growing stronger, its just a shame the Mags don't seem to think that this car isn't popular enough to make a fuss over anymore.

Well done to Saddler and everyone else who sorted this event out. Hopefully, in the not to distant future, I'll finally be able to attend some events and help you guys get the recognition this legendary car deserves! :D

I went to sign on for track time the guy said there was over 80 photographers already there, and apparently that is more than for an F1 meet, so surely there cant be a shortage of pics of the day, and like previously stated we went round enough times for them to get good shots!!

Well in that case I'll cut them some slack; I feel like they're still getting going.

I'm saving all my vitriol for Banzai anyway...
