Has anyone done these?

My missis bought us one last year that ive still to do, it basiclly consist of an instructor taking you out for a few laps then you get a few laps. Choice of cars is lambos, ferrari's, porsche ect im thinking ferrari.

Just wondering if anuone has done these and what they thought of it?

I did one at Goodwood Motor Circuit. Did a few laps in a Dodge Viper and Chevrolet Corvette. Although this was before I had the 'R and I had zero track experience. I was told to keep it in 4th so wasnt particularly great, also LHD was a pain in the ass to get to grips with >.< not to mention the angry instructor shouting at me for not knowing how to drive on a track!!

i went with my mate last year for his birthday. he drove an evo 260, ferrari and audi r8. the instructors never really let him open it up on the track and there was alot of waiting around. only did 2 laps in each. he said it was good to drive the nice cars but he should of drove his pulsar on the track as it was faster than the evo and ferrari. not sure about the r8 though!

I had one of those rally experiences in a rally prepared focus, had one go round the gravel track then one timed, the best bit was going out with the pro though they really are crazy drivers.
I was quite dissapointed though as I only went out the once on timed i'm sure I could,ve bettered my time!

Should be good getting a shot off a top car but I'm expecting It to be restricted on how fast they will let you go. Which may not be a bad thing.

Had no chance to really push the car as the course was only long enough for 2nd gear lol but it was good fun just needed to be longer!

I did the Lambo one at Rockingham Raceway and it was good fun. There was a fair bit of waiting around then a couple of laps in a Mini Cooper with an instructor to get an idea of the track and then about 5-6 laps in the lambo. It was quite a tight track so didn't get more than about 90ish but my instructor was really good and for the last couple of laps was urging me to push harder. I think a lot of it comes down to your attitude with the instructor, if you come across like as a knob he's not going to want you to drive fast in their very expensive cars. A lot of money for not much driving but a memorable day.
