iv got a case of bad rot in my n/s rear arch and surrounding area, im aware there arent any replace ment panels on the market, but there are similar panels which would require modifying to suit

Think you can buy the rear quarters from nissan. They are around £300 a side and come from japan, so a long wait, if I remember right .

I can't understand why no-one has the 3 door rear wing in stock but has the 5 door version, strange.

I've recently replaced both rear arches and they where from a 5 door, fitted good once I'd re shaped them.

Look for body shops or panel suppliers etc.

Good luck

johnsy is it the whole qualter panel you need or just the arch itself?
i have a car down here with a mint arch on n/s and sill which you are welcome to cut off if you wanna pop down to do it.
i could do it but its not a five minute job to remove these without causing damage to the panel as there double skinned plus you then have the problem of getting the thing delivered without any damage being caused to it which is a feat in itself lol.

cheers bob bit of a trek for me,to come down there lol, im gonna get some quote,s first, steve ferguson has put me onto some that supposed to be very good probbably very exspensive to but as long as its a good job i dont mind paying for it , ill see wot this body shop says and get back to ya, all depends on how much the rot has set in could need parts of the floor section cutting out too,

Only just re-visited this thread so apologies for the wait, i'll see what i can do with the pic's.

As you say the rot may be a little more developed than what it seems on the surface i.e. the inner skin may also require re-building or replacing. I would suggest the inner wings be replaced also, this will stop any further progression of rust. Also a good dolop of underseal on the inside between the two skins will prevent any water from seeping between the skins and starting the whole process again.

I'll have a look at who it was i got the arches from and let you know.

Ant.

Our local motor factors sell the 5 door ones for £20 each. I'm sure your local motor factors would aswell. Its worth phoning them up first if you are going down the 5 door arche root.
