i would want at least seven grand for that car(although you would be lucky to find someone who will buy it)... jus think mabe the value would go up if we stopped selling at such cheap prices.

Theres one for sale with almost identical spec for 6k in the for sale section. You'd be mad to pay an extra 3k for that one.

Does anyone have a link for the 'Backsaw' car on piston heads, i have looked but can't see it. I would be interested to see this car.

Mine is the £9k car, yeah i know £9k it quiet high, as we all know it is very difficult if not impossible to value such items, I can only base it on money spent 'v' spec.

The only reason i was thinking of selling it was because i never use it much, since June it has been out twice, I had it remapped and the boost increased to 1.8bar in May/June, it made such a difference, i think the 430bhp is a very conserative power output, the guy who mapped it said "this is one of the fastest pulsars i have driven", coming from him i guess it must be good. What does a 3071 @ 1.8 push out?

TBH, i can't see the car selling, probably as you all say too much, but then i am not giving it away either, if you bought a very clean 'K' plate you would be looking at £4500, then start the tuning list i have and see what you come up with, my last mod was the Manifold, Turbo, Elbow, Exhaust and then mapped, just under £3k for that alone.

Anyway thanks for the interest, at least your not slatting it!!

Cheers
Pete

at a guess, if everything is tickety boo 430-440 wont be far off, but its really not worth worrying about, if it drives well and is reliable thats all that matters, anything over 400bhp in one of these old bean cans is more than enough for a road car.
