Getting that cast manifold to glow for any length of time is no easy talk.. I would be more inclined to say that something was wrong. Tubular manifolds glow if they are farted at but the cast one is a lot thinker and takes a lot more prolonged heat. I'm sure someone else on here had this...

I always thought the Z32 MAF was 70mm..

From what I can remember its about an extra 1L of oil.. Replace the filters and add the normal 3.4L.. When the thermostat opens, add about 1L more oil.. Once its all cooled down you should be topped up on the dip stick with the extra oil sitting in the pipes and cooler..

Koyo Aluiminium Rad should be what you're looking for.. Especially if you're planning some track days..
