Forthcoming rallying in the north east. An event just announced 27th December at Langbaugh Motorsports (kart track) Middlesborough. Entered in my GTIR, just needs a new plumbed fire system and an MOT and checkover. New 17 year old co driver. Come support and see a rally GTIR in action.... Jon

Good clutches, got one in my tarmac gtir. With sticky tyres on a hot day, you've got to be a little on the cautious side when full launch is used. Anything else (stage start..) and it'll light up all 4 and slew its way to the first corner Jon

Fitting a silenced decat got my mongoose past the MSUK noise tests every time rallying for knocking on 10 years. Best mod ever Jon

Knock monitor on the block with a dash digital display is what I have on my Ibiza rally car Jon

Base map, yes, but the bottom end was quite far away, fuelling wise. Ignition wise, I can copy one of my other racers for a starting point, as VW's don't seem quite as fussy. The intake system is all mix match, Jenvey's etc etc, so no MAF or MAP. I wish to learn, and as a retired controls...
