From memory that car was running a norris designs engine. Was a quick one. Dont know if its still about or if its passed through bobs hands and changed into lots of parts.

It hasn't been the UKs fastest pulsar for a long time. It probably was once, but I don't know any 1/4mile times for it.
For 430bhp I don't think it was anything special as I never heard of it being particularly fast. 11s maybe, but never heard of any low 11s from it. There's plenty of cars faster than it now. |

Quick car.
I think the chap that owned it was called Bruce, he came to one of the mag thrash days i organised a few years back and was a nice bloke, as i recall it was in the 11s and was hitting proven big top speeds of 160+ done at one of the early TOTB events if i recall correctly. One thing i will say is that he wasn't afraid to push the car hard which was refreshing.

It was in the 11's. Thinking about it im sure it sold off the modifiers club a few years back and he bought a skybarge

bruce ran that car at totb III, the same one allen did an 11.85 and jay gant an 11.09

430bhp and he managed to run 13s at TOTB
 Even the 11.98 isn't good. I'm only 0.08s slower with at least 130bhp less. Maybe his ego added too much weight to the car? Either he had nowhere near 430bhp or he couldn't drive it very well. |
